Hamami Aftershave Aon 's 1966 Old World TallowHamami is the term for a Turkish bath house. A place where you would go to get a full body cleansing. Traditionally you start in a hot, dry room. This is where you sweat before you bath. After some time you are moved into the actual room where you would bath. You will lie on the gbekta (Platform in the middle of the room). The attendant will then begin to lather and scrub away all the dirt on your body before rinsing you with cold water. We thought
